Community Service

Our goal of this ministry is to create Love In Action teams to help connect Grace church families to serve individuals and organizations in need.

We want to follow Jesus' hands-on example of expressing God's love by meeting the needs of those outside of Grace  ...

... "wherever we are we serve."

A recent thank you note from the Compassion Pregnancy Center.

Love in Action has two primary ways of helping you connect with service in the community through Grace:

1. Second Saturday: short, monthly Saturday morning service projects.

2. Service Teams: ongoing teams with a particular service focus, such as handyman projects, driving people, and creating cards, to name a few. These teams may sometimes respond to an internal Grace request, but the primary focus is to express the love of Christ to our local community by hands-on service.

ESL CONVERSATION PARTNERS NEEDED

Become an English Conversation Partner for the summer with an ESL student who speaks some English. The ESL ministry is looking for people to befriend an English language learner (same gender) for the summer months, provide one-on-one English conversation practice, and intentionally demonstrate the love of Jesus. You and your student decide when and how often to meet.
