Music Ministry
I will sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever: with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. - Psalms 89:1O come, let use sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation. - Psalms 95:1
Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing. - Psalms 100:2
Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord our Maker - Psalm 95:6
Music is a very important part of worship.
As soon as Samuel anointed David as king, God thrust him into his first ministry: Music (1 Samuel 16:18). David appointed 228 musicians for duty who were "trained and skilled in music for the Lord". - 1 Chronicles 25At Grace, our goal is not simply to “make music”, but to become worshipers of the Most High God, continually seeking to be truthful in our worship as God desires according to John 4:23.
There is no such thing as Christian music, only Christian lyrics! We understand that in this diverse culture, people's taste in music are wide and different. Here at Grace we try to offer a healthy balance of different styles, from traditional hymns to vibrant praise songs to intimate worship settings.
Our worship team consists of singers and musicians whose goal is to produce an environment of worship that pleases the heart of God, which invites His presence to be embraced by the congregation to worship the One True Living God.
Romans 12:1 says "offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God. This is your spiritual act of worship.” We believe that worship is a lifestyle, and that it forms a part of every facet of church life, home life, work life, school life etc. Our sanctuary worship on a Sunday is an outflow of our worship to God during the week.
We invite you to come and be a part of our worship experience and be transformed by the life-changing Power of God!
